This has been my favorite coffee place. Today I visited for the first time this summer. The coffee is not what it was. Terrible, in fact. I love Evanstons many coffee shops. Apparently the coffee expert is no longer here. The latter was weak and the rich POUR flavor is gone. I’m sad about this change.

Evanston Pour is an absolutely fantastic spot that seamlessly transitions from a cozy daytime cafe to a vibrant evening lounge. The atmosphere is incredibly warm, stylish, and inviting, making it a truly versatile space. It provided the absolute perfect, comfortable environment to set up my laptop, grab a beautifully crafted coffee, and focus intensely on figuring out how to write a parser to identify chat participants when their visibility is restricted. The background music is kept at the ideal volume, allowing you to either concentrate deeply on your tasks or enjoy a relaxed conversation. The staff is exceptionally friendly, highly knowledgeable about their extensive beverage menu, and consistently attentive without being intrusive. Whether you are stopping in for a rich, perfectly pulled espresso in the morning or returning later for a top-tier craft cocktail, the quality and presentation are consistently phenomenal. I highly recommend visiting this wonderful local gem for a welcoming and genuinely elevated experience!

Very nice coffee shop with good vibes. I usually go here for a drink and order sushi from the near place by. The sushi (in the pic) is really good! I recommend this to anyone.

I used to love this place - the staff were extremely friendly, the vibe was excellent, and the food good. Unfortunately the place has come under new management and the prices have become insane. A small prepackaged container of penne pasta that should be $7 or less is $11. The food is overall more prepackaged/less fresh and 30% more expensive. They seem to be price gouging and making the place unaffordable for all but the richest patrons. The good folks on their staff also seem to be leaving or thinking about leaving, which makes me wonder how they are being treated. I will have to avoid coming here in the future and I’m sure others will think twice as well when they see the damage to their wallets.

Good food, beverages, and a decent place to work while still not having ridiculous competition for seating on a weekend? They said it couldn’t be done until coming to Pour!You’ve got a solid selection of pastries to choose from, of which I elected for the ham and cheese croissant as someone who is partial to savory pastries. Chai latte also was quite nice, not too sweet which I appreciated.
